Terms and Conditions for Makeup Artist Services

  1. Booking and Payment:

    • All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a non-refundable booking fee, which will be deducted from the total service cost.
    • The remaining balance is due on the day of the appointment, payable by cash, bank transfer, or another method agreed upon by both parties.
    • Prices are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  2. Cancellation and Rescheduling:

    • Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment up to 10 days before the scheduled date without incurring any additional charges.
    • Cancellations made less than 3 days before the appointment will result in the forfeiture of the booking fee.
    • In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or emergency, every effort will be made to accommodate a rescheduled appointment.
  3. Services Provided:

    • The Makeup Artist (MUA) will provide makeup services as agreed upon in advance, which may include but are not limited to bridal makeup, special occasion makeup, and makeup for photoshoots.
    • The MUA will use professional-grade makeup products and tools to ensure the highest quality results.
    • Any additional services requested on the day of the appointment may be subject to an additional fee.
  4. Client Responsibilities:

    • Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their skin type, allergies, sensitivities, and any other relevant medical or cosmetic concerns.
    • Clients must disclose any pre-existing makeup or skincare products applied to their skin prior to the appointment.
    • Clients are responsible for ensuring that the makeup area is clean, well-lit, and adequately ventilated.
  5. Liability:

    • The MUA will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of the client during the makeup application process.
    • The MUA cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions or injuries resulting from the use of makeup products or tools, provided that all relevant information has been disclosed by the client.
    • Clients are encouraged to inform the MUA immediately if they experience any discomfort or adverse reactions during the makeup application process.
  6. Intellectual Property:

    • The MUA retains all rights to any photographs or images of the client’s makeup application, which may be used for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
    • Clients may request that their images not be used for promotional purposes, in which case their request will be honored.
  7. Jurisdiction:

    • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of [insert jurisdiction], and any disputes arising from or relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [insert jurisdiction].

By booking the services of the Makeup Artist, the client agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
